Right now the sun is in my eyes, blinding me, but I can't be bothered to move because it kind of feels like a spotlight and I know it will leave soon, anyway. So I'm just enjoying it as I listen to music I've heard a thousand times before and read your wise words. I imagine just the act of making a list like this would be enough to feel the joy of all 50 at once.

- Having university assignments that are creative rather than academic (although I am currently struggling to come up with the next stories I should write for my writing classes)
- Listening to the Pod Meets World podcast while watching the episode of Boy Meets World that they are talking about before listening to that podcast episode (I'm a couple years behind but I LOVE it)
- Thinking about the fact that I'm going to be taking a theatre course at a renowned theatre festival this summer that is being taught by one of my favourite profs.
I mentioned that I'm struggling to think of story ideas for 2 of my classes. For one class I need to write a proposal for a horror novel and for another I need to write a short story. And advice on how to develop ideas?
We actually have three car washes. 😂 One day we will have to meet up with Aunt Debbie and eat Mexican and explore all of the little mom and pop shops around. Has he taken you out to "Amish Country" yet?
Pieces of joy for me include my birthday and receiving a new coat after the one I had since I was eight was falling apart, and getting a purple comforter and sheets after only having one red one.
I got a cake from my work and I'll make pancakes with my mom today.
I am trying to be more productive today and complete more work in more time. I also get to make a schedule, so that's fun.
i also get to plan an event for my weekly class so that's cool too!
Also, your new book seems really exciting! I can tell you have a lot of inspiration for this one XD
I'm only on season one of the white lotus but when does the horniness begin and would you maybe write a journal talking about how that show handles discussions like colonism, privileged classes and more
My sister is currently on a religious mission in Latvia, and I definitely have to tell her about Jelena! That's awesome! Also the roaring patriarchal bull thing made me chuckle.

It's quite inspiring and also joyful that I have been able to read your writing for 11 years. Also, your 50th piece of joy is something I relate to - my city deems it "false spring."

Here are some things that make me happy:
- The club I'm part of at my university.
- Going to the gym with my friends every week.
- Being involved in a play at my university.
