there IS power in youth, and the youth are waking up to it. at the same time, it is hard to feel like we can be disruptors when economic prosperity and well-being feels farther and farther out of reach for us. like wdym my parents had an apartment in the city at 25?!

Good point. The old just snapped up all the wealth and have left the young to fend for themselves.

It depends on the situation, both should be allowed to coexist.

The 'old' bring experience while the 'young' bring new ideas and perspectives and new skills

Agreed! But the old keep walling out the young right now...

I think the old should make room for the young but do they? No. Some leaders of conservative organizations tend to view children as puppets they can string however they wished and most people get upset when the government tries to change to make things easier for young mothers going well I never had that so why should you have it. Yes everyone one eventually dies but we cannot be blinded to the fact that during our political leaders aging days theyre polices have lead to people dying mostly young people because well in the United States we have the freedom of assembly nobody likes when we actually utlize that consitutional right. Let's not forget how aging leaders usually call upon the young barley out of school schoolboy to fight in their wars for the Vietnam drafts and many others.

Then they're the young mother who quickly becomes the aging mother that sacrifices everything for their young child and thats an endearing moment of the old passing the bation to the young but then it comes with its own struggle of being the pinnacle of your parents struggles because they sacrifice so much you struggle to make something of yourself. Age is a big difference in people but death is the unifer in the end that and the fact that experience makes people grow up regardless of their age

I tend to write characters under 15 and over 50 (I'm working on a middle grade quirky contemporary fantasy and a midlife golden girls meets marvel style rom com) so this is all fascinating to watch!

Thanks!! It's one of those projects where I love the idea and premise so much I'm just worried that my abilities to execute will live up to it.

doing a happy dance. i'll leave it at that.

(with all the high hopes and optimism that the young shall not only dispose of the OLD way of doing things - out only for their own greedy benefits and interests of money and power - and be able to dismantle the SYSTEM that the OLD have put in place to protect themselves.)

can we do it???? please?????

The only people who can do it are the young people! Biggest barrier is just getting their collective act together......
